Meet A Few of Our Ministry Partners

This ministry has been vital in showing me how to witness in my daily practice of surgery. The relationships I have established with those involved in the Network have been a major source of encouragement.  I give my support in prayer, time, and finances because I believe so very much that this is one of the basic ways Jesus wants us to spread the Gospel. Through the work God is doing through Bob and Diana, I hope we can raise up a whole new group of healthcare professionals who will have a burning desire to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their practices.

I met Bob and Diana during early medical school, and was significantly influenced by them through the Whole Person Care Preceptorship. My training through the preceptorship helped me to see my Christian calling and medical vocation as an integrated way to serve and walk with God, and encouraged me greatly in my faith journey. It’s a joy to partner with them as they seek to do the same work among new generations of students!

It’s been a pleasure and a blessing to support Bob and Diana’s ministry over these three decades.  They communicate consistently, concisely, and clearly through their monthly newsletter.  This helps to inspire and motivate us, knowing our support goes to evangelize and to offer Christ’s peace to persons who are receiving medical care – often in a place of vulnerability and spiritual receptivity.  This ministry equips medical professionals, who are in a unique position to be God’s instruments in the lives of their patients.

A special moment came when our daughter, a young nurse practitioner, connected with Bob at an Atlanta conference of non-profit and Christian medical ministries.  She was age 26 then – almost the same age as Linda and I were when we first began partnering with Bob and this ministry in 1983.  What a remarkable “full circle” in God’s blessing of (and) this ministry!
